Student Expectations
Participation in this community is optional and open to active students in good academic standing that are enrolled in an international program with a Hudson Global Scholars school.
Students are expected to:

Avoid using offensive, vulgar, or discriminatory language.
Use a respectful and friendly tone when posting or communicating.
Use humor with care and understand that in online environments, sarcasm and joking may not come across as intended.

Avoid sharing any content that may be considered offensive or inappropriate in a school environment.
Never take or post images of themselves or others unless all parties have given consent, and the facilitator has approved the post.

Do not share personal information about yourself or others without consent.
Only share content that is your own.
Use social media and other platforms with discretion.
Do not share links to video conferences, passwords, or login information with anyone except the student’s parent, guardian, or Learning Coach.

Treat all members with respect, even if you disagree with their opinions.
Avoid personal attacks, harassment, name-calling, disruptive behavior, and offensive language.
Respect diversity and the global nature of the student body.
Report anything inappropriate immediately to the teacher, parent, guardian, and/or Learning Coach.
Comply with any additional expectations set by the Hudson Global Community facilitators.
Exercise discretion and sensitivity when discussing politically sensitive topics to foster respect and harmony.
Please note that school clubs and activities facilitators reserve the right to remove students from this community due to noncompliance with any of these expectations.
